HHRS STEM Coordinator Mrs. Leigh Fitzsimmons presented the STEM and STEAM Academies at the Board of Education meeting on January 18th. The Academies will be open to incoming freshmen for the Fall of 2017. The goals of the Academies are to prepare students for future study and careers in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics and to allow students to specialize in a field of interest through a specific course of study.
