Seven HES students in grades 1-6 were honored as Students of the Month at the Highlands Elementary School Board of Education meeting on December 12, 2016.
Congratulations to Chloe Fiel, John Sierchio, Matthew Kane, Cayden Fiel (pictured with Highlands Borough Council member Rebecca Kane-Wells, HES Board President Cynthia Fair, Dr. Compton and Mrs. Schutz), Sophie Pajewski, Mabell Wolfson, and Savannah Roman (not pictured).
To be considered for Student of the Month, students must display that they are cooperative and helpful, motivated and positive about school activities, complete school assignments, get along well with peers, have a “C” or better average, are punctual, attend school regularly, abide by classroom and school rules, and demonstrate good citizenship.
