Congratulations to the 2016-2017 HHRS Student Council officers! Student Council has already been involved in a number of activities this school year, including helping the National Honor Society and Memphis Pig Out host the annual 7th grade welcome lunch, creating PSAs for the morning announcements during Ally week, and collecting money to buy gifts for a family in need during the holiday season. Senior class officers also helped to promote “Stomp Out Bullying- Blue Day” and asked students to sign anti-bullying pledges during lunch. Student Council members are also part of the HHRS Youth Advisory Committee, Handbook Committee and Safety Committee. The Student Council and its advisors, Mrs. Dawn DeSanto and Mrs. Leigh Fitzsimmons are looking forward to many more projects this year.
