On March 30th and 31st, the 5th and 6th grade students of Atlantic Highlands Elementary School performed The Wizard of Oz to sold out audiences. It featured everything from a remote controlled Toto to a projected Wizard face and even a tornado!
The cast of 60 brought the classic story of Dorothy Gale to life, with help from 27 crew members. The entire AHES community got involved in this production and the results were amazing! Parent volunteers painted the scenery, designed and made the costumes and choreographed the dances. Director, Jennifer Wolff, who teaches music at AHES said "The cast and crew truly impressed me. I loved watching each child shine no matter what their role was in the musical."
