This is the image for the news article titled National Elementary Honor Society Induction at HESHighlands Elementary School inducted 6 new members into its chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS). New members Eleanor Conover, Melania Frye, Katelyn Seuffert, John Sierchio, Tyler Studer and Zhalet Tapia were inducted on February 23, 2017 and join existing members Jeremy Way, Raine Gulian and Amanda McMillan. 
National Elementary Honor Society is in its 2nd year at HES and focuses on encouraging student achievement, serving the community and bringing a tradition of excellence and distinction to the school. NEHS allows HES to recognize its highest achieving students in grades 4-6, with new 4th graders being inducted every year.  NEHS is advised by Ms.Laura Petriello and Ms. Tori Witkowski and has several service projects in the works including a fundraiser for St. Jude's Children Hospital, helping the PTO in the Osprey Garden for Earth Day,and reading to students in the younger grades.  Congratulations to our new members!
