This is the image for the news article titled AHES Jump Rope for Heart Raises over $26,000Atlantic Highlands Elementary School held its 5th annual Jump Rope for Heart program on March 3rd.  The goal of the program is to educate students about the importance of leading a heart-healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition, daily exercise and staying tobacco free while also raising money for the American Heart Association.

The event itself was fantastic and the students and teachers had a great time exercising their hearts by participating in a variety of fun activities. In addition, this year, AHES also had two amazing Jump Rope assemblies. The fifth-grade jump team from Fairview Elementary School in Middletown and World Champion Jump Rope Athlete Billy Jackson got everyone excited for AHES' event.

This year was a record-breaking year for fundraising!  AHES raised over $26,800 dollars for the American Heart Association! Congratulations to everyone who raised money and participated in this fantastic event, and thank you to Mr. Wolff for all of his hard work in putting a great day together for our students.
